Everyone is fond of patterns these days and what’s better than having a Grid Pattern which is one of the oldest patterns developed.
Hello guys, Welcome back to my Blog. I am pretty excited for this one, well I’m usually for all the blogs. This particular blog post is in collaboration with @helloswaggerofficial (Instagram Handle). They decided to send me a beautiful grid patterned Kurta and wanted me to stylize it. Although after seeing a Kurta everybody gets the same thought of Indian Attire, which is so mainstream still I decided to go with the Mainstream this time because I knew the whole theme that I have in Mind will make it look appealing much more than any other Fusion with it.
As soon as I received the order I started creating the mood board for my Blog Post and came up with a Vintage Look. The colors in the kurta are very warm and full of energy depicting wealth, riches, warmth, sunshine etc. which reminded me of the Vintage Era where we used to have everything very Royal, very Formal, completely straightforward.
Taking Formal Look in mind I decided to wear Black Palazzos with that Kurta and to complete the theme we needed a good background. The Huge Royal Wooden Doors were the best to go with the theme and the colors in the kurta, therefore, that was chosen for my Post.
I did a braid on my wet hair and slept overnight to get those beautiful curls in my hair which seems pretty natural and were very much common in the olden times. Makeup wasn’t bold as it would have hampered the focus, which was the theme, therefore, it was subtle with slight golden touch in the eyeshadow and a bright orangish red lipstick. I wore golden flats which complimented the whole attire with a Golden bracelet and Golden danglers to complete the accessorizing.
At last, I am all ready to show you the pictures as now it will be much easier for you guys to connect with me and understand the theme as I tried to portray it. I hope I achieved what I started with initially.
